Privacy Policy

The mission of Green Screen Adventures is to build enthusiasm for writing by featuring the work of elementary school students on our broadcast and website. To reach that goal we encourage students to submit their stories and illustrations, essays, reports, and poems either through their schools, by mail, fax, or online.

We work to assure the privacy and safety of all participants and visitors:

  • No work will be featured without a release form signed by the student’s parent or legal guardian. Prior to broadcast or inclusion on our website, we will obtain a release form. It may be submitted at the time the work is sent. Work may also be submitted online without the release, but, if the work is selected, we will contact you, using your submission contact information, to secure the release prior to use.
  • When the work of children is featured on our broadcast or posted on our website it will be identified only by the child’s first name, grade or age, school, city and state. (This includes all stories, other writing, artwork, or comments submitted to us.)
  • Contact information that is provided to us will not be shared with a third party.
  • No one will be excluded from our site for not giving us personal information. We do not require visitors to submit personal information in order to view the website. We encourage students, their families and educators to use our website as an educational tool – using our writing prompts, reading our behind-the-scenes information, or watching videos of the stories written by other students that have been featured. We do require visitors, however, to submit specific personal information in order to submit writing and drawings for consideration.

Use of this site is conditioned on your having accepted these terms. We suggest that you review this policy from time to time because it is subject to change. Your continued use of the site is conditioned upon your acceptance of any modifications hereto.

We want to provide all children, their families and educators with a creative learning journey on the Green Screen Adventures website and broadcast. We look forward to your feedback to help us continue providing a positive educational experience.
