Once upon a time there was a man named Billy and his dog Digger. They were sent to Egypt to find Khon Shu’s tomb. They traveled on a private get. They went to a town called Barlic. Billy and Digger arrived at Barlic on May 3rd.
On the third day there they set off to the deep sands of the Great Desert. After a short rest, bandits were in sight. Billy got in the car but it was too late. “What should I do?” Billy thought to himself. Billy and Digger were with the bandits the rest of the day. At 2:20 pm a sandstorm reached the desert. Billy and Digger locked themselves in so the bandits had no protection. The bandits were so scared that they left their camels and treasure behind.
After the sandstorm, Billy saw a tiny speck of limestone on top of one of the tallest sand dunes. “That must be the pyramid,” Billy thought. It would take months to dig that out. Digger barked and barked. “What is it now, boy?” Billy asked. Billy saw another sandstorm. “Not again,” said Billy.
One hour later he opened the car door. To his surprise he saw a large pyramid in his view. “Digger,” he called, “I think we found it!” Beside the door were two soldiers. “I think they are guarding it,” he said. When he saw a slot he said “Go fetch the disc, Digger.” Billy put the disc through the slot. The door opened.
As they walked in they saw skeletons of other people. Out came a snake. “I am Ssslither. If I can hypnotize you, you will become my sssupper. If you hypnotize me, I will let you pass.” Digger and Ssslither were going first. Digger tried and won. “You may pass,” said Ssslither, “but beware. There are harder tesssts. If you need me again, I would be glad to help.” Then he turned back and lit all the torches and Digger walked to a place where there was a large hallway. Billy threw a rock at the person and it fell. “A booby trap,” said Billy.
After they jumped over it they came upon a large hallway with lots of sand and it got stuck and kept on going lower. “Quicksand,” said Billy. So Digger rolled across it and pressed a button and a heap of sand rose up and Billy walked to the other side. They came to a closed room. When they took a step, the door sealed shut behind them. Out came a bug. Billy stepped on it. Moments later, a lot of bugs were coming from the walls. “I don’t think they really like me for stepping on their king.” Digger saw a button and stepped on it and the circle slipped over and they fell in a passage.
After they went down, they found Khon Shu’s tomb. There was a slot in the mummy’s chest. Billy took the disk out of this pocket and slid it in the slot. A door opened and it was filled with gold. A few days later, he opened a museum in a town called Fernfield. He put whatever he found in that museum. It became very famous.
